Blogs in Today's Classroom
I am not too familiar with blogging. However, learning to blog is fun and interesting. Teachers should learn about new technology that is available for students to increase learning and interaction. There are many practical uses for a teacher to maintain a blog including communicating with students, teachers, and parents and providing important classroom and school information and updates. Also, pictures and videos of importance to the curriculum can be posted for all to enjoy.
Students may feel more acquainted with the new technology and blogging in general. It is important that students understand how to use the Internet responsibly and safely. The world is literally at the fingertips of our students to use as a powerful, interesting, and empowering tool. Through interaction and communication with other students from different regions of the world, students can enlarge their knowledge base to cultures and students they may never come across in their daily lives. It is exciting to contemplate the numerous ways technology can be integrated into the curriculum! So fun!!!!

All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
All I Really Need to KNow about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday School. These are the things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours.
Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash you hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life-learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.

First Blog
Sitting in a Web 2.0 class learning how to make a blog, wiki, podcast, etc, etc. Just trying it out. Have nothing else to say for now...
