Incorporating Technology

In our Best Practices in Literacy Instruction class we are required to create lesson plans for comprehension and vocabulary. When I sat down to brainstorm ideas, truthfully incorporating technology did not even enter the picture. However, when we discussed our lesson plans in class, I enjoyed the inclusion of technology that other students used. In the future I plan to find innovative and effective ways to incorporate technology into many of the lesson plans that I create regardless of the subject. Students are always excited to try new and inventive ways to learn and gain knowledge especially when using technology. The best thing a teacher can do is stay informed and up-to-date on all the new uses of technology that can be incorporated into lessons and the classroom.
